It reflects the battle between the idol facade that every one sees vs the real human being. The real person, the one with the wounds, kills the facade at the end. I only hope that Korea starts seeing mental help as a necessity and not a burden, not only for the idols, but for the society all.

It's my first time listening to KARD I'm literally addicted to this song.......

This song is so unique that it doesn't even have the "generic k-pop sound". The ladies take advantage of the clever arrangement to flex their vocals to the maximum with an underscore of pain, and the boys use their timbres to contribute a perfect balance. The lyrics fit KARD perfectly for their style, and once you hear it, you know it's KARD.

BM did an outstanding job on the album! He's shown his skills as an artist, demonstrating a variety of music throughout the years. The recognition they have just started to receive thanks to the few variety shows they've been on and the content they've put out for us. Good job BM, Jseph. Jiwoo, Somin. this song is about a *toxic relationship.* it’s describing *verbal abuse* & *mental and emotional manipulation.* the following is my interpretation of the lyrics. *”You sugar-coat it with LOVE every time”* you’ve gone in so deep that the words you hear, no matter how hurtful, how sharp, how hard they hit you, _you crave more because you’ve been tricked into thinking it’s a form of love._ *”Selfish, I will never be enough. Even when I pour out all of myself”* You give your all into the relationship. You show your feelings, your identity, yourself. _You are vulnerable, a state that is usually only revealed to those you trust the most._ However, in this case, you have been _manipulated into thinking you trust the other person._ *”Endless war. Again, Endlessly More”* I thought of this line as a war with yourself rather than the other person in the relationship. _You are at war with yourself._ What ever seems wrong just feels so right that whenever you try to stop it, you just want more. *”Piercing words. Like bullets they are (But I won’t surrender my darling)”* These are the moments when your being bashed, abused, bombarded verbally. _Words hurt._ That’s the entire message in this song. Words hurt. I’m bleeding love”* I think this is basically saying no matter what you say to me, i will think of it as love. If you tell me “im a b*stard or a b*tch” i will feel loved. Why? Because this is the _only form of ”love” I know._ This is the only form of love i’ve experienced that I no longer know what real love is. *”I’m feeling like I’m in desolation. Break it the damage that closed my eyes. So far you’ve concealed the true color.”* The damage has been done. You’ve gone through all the torture and abuse that you no longer see what love is. You _can’t tell the difference_ between real love and mental manipulation. *”Now break off your chains. (Even if I’m naked). In all the tricks. Ankle grabbing trap. Need to drag myself out of there. KARD should get more recognition for doing such concepts

It is a comeback with a very important message about the power of words, verbal abuse and many others that we can pass on. *Theories* Jiwoo represents abuse in a dependency relationship, in any type of relationship, be it romantic, friendship, any type. And she shoots the old version of herself at the end as a representation that she left the addiction, overcame the trauma of this type of relationship. Bm represents the abuse that Toxic Masculinity imposes on men, a barrier in the way of showing feelings, so he does not know how to deal with them and destroys everything around him. Somin represents as much as the verbal abuse of people, that their words are as sharp as a pencil. It is also like her decision to write her own way and leave toxic words behind, since she has the power to write her stories on her hands (representation of the sharp pencil she holds) J. Seph represents how people hide behind profiles on the internet and judge people and spread toxic comments and don't realize that it hurts people. There is this wave of hate for idol and their fandons as well. And that haters feel they belong to participating in a group of haters on the internet but that these people only reflect how unhappy they are. Those were some of the things I realized from messages behind the strong images.
